We spent years developing The Flat Head Brush (AKA The Flatty) to be built to last – as tough as we made the microfibre sock though, there was no way we could make it last as long as the hard plastic handle. But rather than make you guys buy a whole new brush when the sock wore out (or disappeared into that “black hole for socks” some washing machines seem to have), we’d rather offer a replacement sock… so you can have even more years of Flatty fun.

Uses the best and most absorbent material we’ve ever found for safe and effective wheel cleaning.
A new updated version, with a sewn-in velcro attachment system, for a firm hold, yet easier to swap on and off.

    Bowden’s Own Fine Clay Rubber

    One of the first steps to shiny paint, is to return it to a nice and smooth finish, free from any bonded contaminants. This new Claying Rubber is what we’ve found to be the easiest, fastest and most effective way to remove these bonded contaminants in one simple step. Using this will help make your paint super smooth, as well as making the paint cleanser, waxes and sealant products easier to use, give a great shine and protect at their very best.

    The Claying Rubber needs to be lubricated with either our Nanolicious Wash for when you wash outdoors, or indoors with our Boss Gloss detailing spray. For more intensive paint decontamination, use it with our Three Way spray to remove embedded iron from your paint as well.

    Brings back the smooth as glass, new paint feel.
    Safely removes bonded particles that make your paint feel rough.
    Super fine grade specialised rubber, so it won’t create micro-scratches or mark your paint.
    Lasts longer than traditional clay bars, and is easier to use.
    If it’s dropped, it doesn’t have to be thrown away, just wipe the rubber surface with water and suds.
    Foam backing to reduce finger pressure points and works better on your cars contours and curves.

    Bowdens Own Metal Polish

    First made back in 2005, its been a steady periodic development of it with three upgrades since that time. This latest new “Tru Blu” version is by far the best yet. It has a new combination of fine non-dimishing and medium grade-dimishing abrasives for restoring the shine to dull and tarnished aluminium, alloy and other polishable metal surfaces. It’s now even easier to use and the messy black residue now washes off with just water! It’s also feels pretty “heavy” like our original formula, but great to use with electric drills and polishing balls and cones.

    A fantastic metal polish for more oxidised and harder alloy and non coated polishable metal surfaces.
    Gives a brilliant, mirror shine to dull and tarnished polishable metals with minimal effort.
    New liquid formula, to make it easier for machine and hand polishing without worrying about it drying out.
    Perfect for all aluminium, alloy, stainless, brass and magnesium auto/bike/boat/truck parts.
    Our special blend of diminishing abrasives cuts through heavier oxidation, as well as removing light pitting and rust stains as well.
    Only need a pea sized drop per application by hand, less is best for this formula.
    Seals the metal so it stays shiny longer between polishes.
    Any messy black residue from the polishing processs just washes off your hands and other surfaces with water.

    Bowden’s Own Big Black One

    This Big Black One was custom created for obsessive fanatics who needed a good quality long handle brush. Using a solid plastic construction, we chose a soft synthetic bristle as our testing found the natural bristles would become brittle and damaged over time. This 5cm deep bristle will remain flexible and very effective for years of great detailing. It also uses splayed out and sturdy feathered bristles, to be effective enough for the tougher detailing jobs, yet gentle and long lasting. We also added a chemical resistant neoprene bumper, to further reduce the chance of ever bumping and harming your car.

    Made for easier cleaning of hard to reach inner guards, tonneaus, van awnings and middle back itches.
    Custom picked sturdy, soft and durable synthetic bristles, compatible with stronger detailing liquids.
    Feathered bristle ends for a more gentle touch.
